This is a transit (attendant-propelled) wheelchair — a carer or companion steers and pushes from behind using the rear handles with loop brakes.
The cross-brace mechanism allows the chair to fold flat quickly for loading into a vehicle. Footrests swing away for a more compact fold.
The solid puncture-proof wheels handle indoor floors, pavements, and smooth outdoor surfaces. It is not designed for rough terrain or gravel.
