What our community says

Loved by 30,000+ customers

Engineered for real-life mobility

Built around the way people actually live — independence in every detail.

The frame is thickened carbon steel rated to 200 kg. Seat width is 44.5 cm and seat height 47 cm, with an overall height of 84 cm — standard adult proportions rather than a compact travel chair that compromises on support.

The seat and backrest are breathable Oxford cloth, which matters over longer periods of sitting in a warm climate. Armrests are finished in PU leather so they wipe clean and stay comfortable under the forearm.

It folds to 78 x 23 x 67 cm and weighs 11 kg, so it goes across a car boot and stores upright against a wall or in a cupboard between trips.

Front and rear wheels handle both indoor floors and outdoor pavements, which means the same chair covers a hospital corridor and the walk in from the car park without swapping equipment.

More freedom.
More confidence.

Questions, answered honestly

Everything you might be wondering

Can't find what you're looking for? We're happy to help.

Q: Can the person sitting in the chair push themselves?
A: No. This is a transit chair, designed to be pushed by an attendant. The rear wheels are not sized for self-propelling with the handrims. If the user needs to move independently, choose a self-propelled model instead.
Q: How do I know if the seat width is right?
A: The seat is 44.5 cm wide, which is a standard adult size. Measure the user across the widest point of the hips while seated, then allow roughly 2-5 cm in total for clearance and clothing. A seat that is too wide removes the lateral support that keeps posture stable.
Q: Will it fit in a car?
A: It folds to 78 x 23 x 67 cm and weighs 11 kg, which fits across most car boots. Measure your own boot opening and floor depth before ordering if space is tight.
Q: What should I check before each use?
A: Confirm the chair is fully opened with the seat rails flat and locked down, apply both brakes before any transfer in or out, and make sure the footplates are down with the user's feet on them before moving off. Check tyre condition and brake bite regularly.
Q: Can it be used outdoors?
A: Yes. The front and rear wheels are made to handle indoor floors and outdoor pavements. Do not use the chair on stairs or escalators, and do not exceed the 200 kg capacity.
