How to measure your blood pressure properly at home?
Before testing, find a quiet place to rest for 5-15 minutes. Avoid eating, exercising, or bathing for 30 minutes prior to testing.
Ensure your upper arm is not covered or pressed. Place one finger between your arm and the cuff, and two fingers between the cuff bottom and elbow.
Sit in a chair with your back straight, legs uncrossed, and feet flat on the floor. Rest your arm on a table, palm up, and make sure the cuff and your heart are at the same level.
Calm down and press the Start/Stop button to begin. Stay quiet and don’t move until the testing is finished.
