The sensor triggers at 25 degrees of forward lean. It sits at the centre of your shoulder blades and measures the angle of your upper back continuously, so the moment you drop past that threshold you feel a short vibration rather than a sound or an on-screen alert.

Because the prompt is physical and brief, it works as well in an open-plan office as it does at home. Nothing holds you upright by force — the harness reminds you, and you correct the position yourself.
